The Nightwatchman

Polaris, alone

In his punishment, his guardianship of the black

Endless watch from the Midheaven -

Cold, colder in the shadows

Will you keep me company

As the fates of men ghost by?

No, there is nothing

Nothing but the sleep of gods

To hold us from coming back

To atone for our sins.
