Cast Away

I'm on a weary journey.

A ship so lost at sea.

Tossed about by the tidal waves,

From the tears that seep from me.

Drowning in my sorrow,

I feel I am going under.

Crashing onto a rocky shore,

By waves that pound like thunder.

I am just a cast away,

In this liquid mass of dread.

The life force being drained from me,

Into a sea of red.

Soon I shall give in to it.

Be taken away with the tide.

I will surely drown one day,

In this ocean I have cried.
