In the year two thousand and two,
Has a much deeper meaning now,
For the Red, White and Blue.
Our Nation was suddenly stunned
From a terrorist's cowardly attack.
But we only grew stronger
And fought them all right back.
From the very first war,
We've fought for our rights.
Our independence was gained
By that dawn's early light.
Though many more have followed,
As each battle was won,
Our freedom was always strengthened
By the time that they were done.
This fight is no exception.
They have only enhanced our rage.
Now they'll know just what its like
When you try to rattle our cage!
We're standing so much taller now,
United and very proud.
We'll see they pay for their actions,
This, America has vowed.
The eagle is soaring swiftly,
Our flag is flying high.
Now we celebrate our independence daily
And not only on the Fourth Of July!
