Silent Symphonies

Words of a poet

  make no sound

on a page,

  but sing chorus'

     through pen.

Their instrument

  sways to rhythm of mind

striking chords

  of imagery

     and beauty.

Writer sits

  listening

to inner interludes

  as their harmonies

play through their soul.

They become

  musicians of melodious word,

composers

  of visionary rhapsodies,

orchestrators

  of literary lyrics,

authors

  of silent symphonies.
