rolls across
the landscape.

stretches forever.
Billowy clouds
move slowly
casting shadows
on the mountains.
The movement
causes the greens
to darken
in places
to shades of emerald
and jade.
The afternoon sun
plays along
perfectly
keeping the
ever-changing shapes
moving along
the forest range
like a rolling tide.
Making the mountains
appear to
shift
and rise
and breathe.
