In this frame of mind,

I'm already defeated,

have already given up

and given in.



In this frame of mind,

there is no hope,

no 'brighter tomorrow,'

nor silver lining.



In this frame of mind,

I see no reason to fight this,

to give it my all,

or be the victor.



For its all irrepairable,

this incurable plight

and I could care less,

in this state of mind.
