Imperfect By Design

It was just my luck of fate,
My cross that I must bear.
I, for one, know its a fact-
Sometimes, life isn't fair.

When you're dealt a loosing hand,
You can only hope, you play them right.
If you fold, you have no chance,
Of ever winning the fight.

There's never any guarantees,
That life won't leave you worn.
Even the most beautiful of flowers,
Has its share of thorns.

Its just the way that I am,
But to these diseases, I won't resign.
For my life, God gave me, with a reason;
I'm imperfect, by His design.
