What�s The Use?

Pain/Ilness What's the use in trying
to win a battle, lost.
Why devote such energy
when it only serves to exhaust.
Why should I even bother?
This conflict can't be won.
So why waste all my strength
on a war already won?
I'll toss my towel into the ring
and accept my bitter fate.
I realize its useless to fight it,
it's power is just too great.
So I'll sit back and take it.
The fight in me is gone.
What's the use in trying to win,
when its just too hard to go on?
