Rhyming Poetry Childhood is an adventure
that we must all go through.
When you are a child,
everything unknown is new.
The big and scary world
is seen through tiny eyes,
that absorb it all so eagerly,
despite their little size.
To us, its only bubblegum and bandaids,
that children are all about.
To them, it is a mighty undertaking
that they must carryout.
For the future lies in children
and from early on they know,
that what they take from childhood now,
will go with them as they grow.
