sound of thunder flash of lightning,
the peace i feel is frighting to my soul
 
blood, sweat and tears
are dripping through the fears
you might have know
i might have shown
 
the sound of thunder
lapse of lighting
are bursting through the beats in my soul
they take there toil
 
the words you speak are thunder
and i am falling under
clouds that roam
the way they drone
 
they're calling out to you
where you kept from view
inside your soul
you didn't know
 
you flash your eyes in my direction
i run for cover and protection
from the unknown
from what was shown

the world dances to the beat
from the storm that i retreat
from at home
inside my soul
 
the movie plays on
the echo of a final song
that took its toll
inside my soul
 
 
lonesome on this
i surrender my will
to your own
inside this storm
 
the teshuvah horn will sound
as my knees fall to the ground
in this storm
but i feel warm
