Cathartic Regeneration

CATHARTIC REGENERATION

Kafka, Dickens, brothers

We share a common baptism in fire,

and so the world marvels and draws

our live’s blood, not plumbing

the depths of our wounds

lest they realize

that genius often is nothing more

than cathartic regeneration.
