Small people won’t see it,
They won’t see how you’ve changed,
How everyday you put points up on the board
Even when you’re told the game is over,
How you battled back from being judged
And stand taller in the eyes of others,
They’ll still see you as small and shallow
Even as you tower over them
Your shadow will shade them from this truth
I just want you to know that if you’re trying
And you can see the change you always wanted
Then the person who matters most
Can see how tall you’ve become
