that life force which defined her was drizzling out onto the floor

everything she had become was being poured out from within,

she knew in that moment, that it was her final chance to breathe

the light faded from her dim eyes and left her face pale

she let out a gentle cry and lay down her head

when she then gave her spirit up, willingly

dancing her way into eternity, slow like a waltz

arms reaching for her, she knew it was him

the one who made her, from nothingness

it was what she had always hoped for

though she was sad before,

happiness had arrived within
