After The Rainfall

Don't you think iv'e thought of that

How you could be the one to bring me back

But my soul heals heavy, after the rainfall

Running in the nearest view

Of all that will be becoming new

Have you ever closed your eyes

Frozen flower petals baby

We're locked here

Like summer left too fast and winter's arrived already

Frozen fingered baby

Don't you know

Hanging on is for the weakest of us

Tole the towering, statue down

Taller than any mountain around, and yet

Here we all bow down, before the emancipation

Maybe i'm lost

And the bridge isn't for me

But it's so cold, and the water looks so warm

Don't you think iv'e thought of that

How you could be the one to bring me back

But my clothes are so heavy, after the rainfall
