There's depression in me, yes

I feel constantly suppressed

When there's something troubling me,

But I have to seem my best.

"If you build it they will come"

Falter once and then they're gone

Do they consider how we pay the actors,

Once the audience has moved on?

As I combine these lines I feel defeat

Will these words find the mind they're meant to meet?

Moreoever would it even care?

Could it see past the words to the author who put them there?
