Weeping Willow

A Willow wept where I lay you now
Protected beneath the branches, it's more than I could give
Broken hearted physically, emotionally
Both left unable to breathe
Tiny hand in mine, but not in a way I had imagined
Gone before I knew your face, still you were mine
I didn't want to let you go, it shouldn't be this way
If all were right, if still a fight
I would change everything

You said it so much more eloquently.

You write beautifully.  :.)
