There is so much I have to forget about you

So much I have to remind myself not to think about or do

I must reassess my thought process

And recondition my sub consciousness

Because you didn't want to be with me

You proclaimed to have mixed emotions about wanting to see

"IF" you and I could make it



Yea - right



IF...           You and I could make it



If your space and time could take it

If you and I could try to build

And till the soils of what fates expectations would yield

Upon the potentials you agreed that existed between us



"Us....."

As your actions on my behalf became totally contradictive of what your lips were saying to me

What   are    you     saying?



Nigga WHAT are you saying to me?



Do you know?

Even more importantly

WHAT are you doing?

When and Why and How did your intentions

And your actions and the meaning behind your being

Become so misconstrued?

Does fear and apprehension have you THAT clinched

That you feel a need to hide all six foot three

Of your abominantly sexy fine chocolate (Did I say fine?)

Asssssssssssssssssssssssssssss behind your ego?

Don't you know?

Can't you see?

That I am scared too?

Dammit if you don't know - than SAY you don't know

It's cool...

And allow me to allow you the time and space you need to figure your shit out

BUT....

*How dare you pee on my leg and tell me it's raining*

By consistently pretending to be one way with me

When your 'mixed' emotions are rendering such a deceitful disguise

How could you ever THINK of treating ME otherwise?

All of THIS because you have chosen to be afraid

Of our potentials and possibilities more than you love me?

Don't you realize that existence is sweet

And the gift that God bestows upon us
