Teardrops in the River

C#m

Theres teardrops in the river

G#m

a fire in the sky

G            A               D

I'm sitting, listening to a lonesome eagle cry

C#m

not cold yet I feel a shiver

G#m

as the agony inside

G                A                D

flows through my soul and tangles up my mind

Bm                            F#m

Thunder ripples from a voodoo fountain

C                  G

I'm not feeling so well

C                     G

no I'm not feeling so well

Bm                               F#m

Wonder how the weather is on the mountain

C                     G

down here its cold as hell

C                     G

down here its cold as hell

A sense of apathy

as the sun sets to the west

rejects on my right and lonesome losers to the left

I try to run away

but theres nowhere left to go

its either this world or the one that lies below

Thunder ripples from a voodoo fountain

I'm not feeling so well

no I'm not feeling so well

Wonder how the weather is on the mountain

down here its cold as hell

down here its cold as hell

Theres a girl in front of me

I used to know her long ago

as I recall she had a heart made out of gold

When i stabbed her in the back

that heart did turn to stone

and as we drown together, we both still feel alone

Thunder ripples from a voodoo fountain

I'm not feeling so well

no I'm not feeling so well

Wonder how the weather is on the mountain

down here its cold as hell

down here its cold as hell
