Never Enough!

Never enough

Is all I’ve become

Nobody else

Will ever know what I need

Not even the one who was in my bed last night

Or the fresh new face of tomorrow

I have never had enough

Or ever will

Like clockwork the women appear

Each and every one with a new insecurity

Then the predictable

‘I love you’

Or simply known in the way she shudders and twitches and stares you in the eye

As always, I realize that I’m not up to it

Once again

I haven’t had enough
