The Cause of Boredom

Boredom is the direct result of depravation of creativity and freedom.

Which, in turn, leads to lack of imagination.

Genocide of cultural diversity…

The pinnacle of capitalism.

The purpose still eludes me…

If you hold a conviction, you better believe in it.

No use creating values that have no meaning…

Or is there?

What could that “use” be, I wonder?

Still can’t seem to grasp it.

Kabana, bottle of chilled spring water, Pink Floyd.

Cheese, crackers, bellyful of alcohol.

Brain full of tetrahydrocannabinol.

Paranoia kicks in and the conspiracy theories begin to flow…

Too justified to be discounted.

Gluttony takes control, desire of comfort.

Desire of an alternate reality.

Desire to be free…

Desire to create…

Which brings us back to boredom.

Boredom is zig zag break of monotony like you do in your poem bringing Charles Lamb and his mundane to "a pleasure" plus scene.
