Christmas is not about Stuff

Gifts and presents 'neath a tree,

But about the Lord's great love,

Kindness benignity.



Not 'bout reindeers, elfs and gnomes,

Nor a merry Santa Claus,

Brightly decorated homes,

Nor dainties wrapped in foil or gauze.



But about God's mercy's throne,

Loving so much fallen earth

That He sent His only son

As a human to take birth.



In a stable, poor and small

Lies the one who ever ;IS,

The creater of the All,

Swaddlihg clothes wrap His knees.



Only boundless love can give

Of its essence, being, core,

So that man shall ever live

With this Love forever more.



Love untellable,-- what tongue

Could such wondrous love besing,

And strike up a worthysong

To praise God, the Savior King.
