I thought about it today
i have to let you go
i knew this was coming
but i tried to hold on
i can't do this anymore

i would rather get hurt
than all those who love you
and are dear to you
imagine the emotional devastation
that our love affair will cause them

i love you...always & forever
you are the best thing
that ever happened in my life
i hope you know that;
i will never forget you

i will make this sacrifice
and walk away
you are the right wrong person
wrong time
wrong world perhaps

i am letting go
and it's breaking my heart
