Wake-Up Call

Her name is Noelle
She's 15
And didn't know
The world was mean

Beautiful, Smart
Always did her part
Everyone said
She was kind at heart

The note he wrote her
The question so evoking
Her head was spinning
She thought she was choking

Her friends gave her warnings
Thin and thick
"Your boyfriend's like a rose,
watch out for the prick!"

She really didn't listen
She really didn't hear
And totally ignored them
As the time drew near

She was in his arms
Against the wall
He grabbed her neck
Wake-up call!

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is a poem teaching a lesson of how to chose your boyfriends wisely, and that sex isn't always the best option for a teen

Your warning is really good.

Your warning is really good. But it is apart of life, but teens should wait. They should wait till its their moment,
and then they should still keep their eyes peeled. Iv heard alot of storys, and iv seen alot of people, get hurt,
because they allowed themselves to be blind. Eyes are ment to see, so lets let them see. Very good poem. I know that others will read this, and agree with you. We should all watch out for things, and think more safelly.
