Snow

The radiant crescent glows,

Casting long shadows over tombstones

Blanketed in snow.

The hamlet sleeps

Oblivious to the Caucasian flakes

Descending from the Heavens.

Dawn breaks,

Snowdrops sway in the breeze.

The gentle rays of the tepid sunlight

Cause petals to glisten in the snow.

The great valley of purple heath

Thrilling silently in the gentle beam

Of the glowing orb.

White frost dotted in every scene

Panorama veiled by chalky powder.

Picture perfect landscape

Blanketed in a white dust

It melts into nature

Refreshing the vision once more.
