You picked me up

When I was down.



I remember when

You carried me home,

Because I was tired.



I remember that night

You saved me,

From monsters under the bed.



I remember all the rescue missions

You carried out on my behalf,

Protecting me from this deranged world.



I remember your tired face

Weary from the grief I�d given you,

But you tolerated it.



I remember your tears

Your pained appearance

You pretended everything was fine.



I remember your endurance,

Keeping up appearances

To keep a stable life.



I haven't forgotten all of these things.

I appreciate all that you've done
