Air

Over thirteen years I have gone without
A quite decent breath, going in or out
My throat always clogged, my lungs so weak
Merely a gust of wind came when I tried to speak

One day, I found such a magical device
Almost mythical for me, so it did entice
I took deep puff from this glass square
Immediately after, I got a breath of fresh air

So speaking, swimming, blowing a balloon
Using all the air like a dumbfounded loon
No more of that cacophonous wheezing
My air came about like a wind tunnel, breezing

So I huff, and I puff, feeling very giddy
When you gasp like a freak, it's hard to look witty
So now that I can breathe well, this women
Swears allegiance to the machine of Asthmanefrin

Author's Notes/Comments:

At last I can finally breathe!  and no, this is not about illegal drugs.

Thank you! I'm sure you'll

Thank you!

I'm sure you'll get yours someday soon :)

Even a year later, I still remember how great it was to be able to breathe clearly for the first time. It was wonderful!
