Fallibility of Memory

Memories of past long years linger unshaded

Bright and clear amidst the gyrating grey neurons

Interpretation of the vivid colourful pictures

Moments cherished- - some dark ones deliberately erased

Yet the happy hormones spark, work overtime unfazed

Some memories glitzy, shimmering, shining like gems

Gems in the gene-coded human biotic machine

Time dips some occasions in luminous paint

Fallible memories repainted like old ad hoardings

Hits the lazy, grimy mind which spontaneously dabs fresh colour

Alas !! the fallibility of old memories- yet provide succour
