Edifice - 6

Stood I before a house made for a God

A temple ? Church ? Mosque ? - I dont remember

Decades later I tried to revel, delve, discover

The roots of belief, the fruits of faith

I knelt at His altar - crossed myself

Thought of the Man whom we killed on the Cross

Whatever name we gave Him, He accepted with dignity & grace

For those ill deeds of men maybe todays man has to doom face

Cut them to pieces !! Feed their dead flesh to the dogs !!

My jehad is on them -- Church a bunch of logs

Bitterness,hatred , greed,pride reigns today supreme

Yet my faith in man still makes me dream

When dumb animals are killed for food my brain begins to scream

How do humans offer God's creations to God ??

Does God really like the killings ? In agreement does He nod?

Remorse they have none, guilt they have not

The killed the goat yesterday & today they forgot !!

Such is  the strength of belief ! Such is unadulterated faith

My jehad isn't against any person-my revolt is against criminal faith

Let us visit the places of worship be it of any religion

Let's find out why Lord Buddha was a man of our region

The unmoved mighty, massive Shiva made of rock

Why to people queue at the gates ? Why do they knock ?

The Juggernaut sans limbs stands majestic and free

He has no legs or hands, cartwheel eyes the Hindu God

Magnetic charrm !! Devotees throng to him the 2014 mod

The grime on our souls -- the dust on our selves

We dont ever really pray to God only decorate our shelves

Let's do our daily work with happiness and grace

Don't hurt any feelings pray once to your Maker

God will never ever strike with His massive mace

Day after day we'll  evolve to perfection never face disgrace
