Holding on to all the memories of the

good times we use to share.

Still holding on to your laughter and your

encouraging smile that showed how much you cared.

Still holding on my brother

to the unique things that made you, you.

Still holding on to your supportive ways

of all the things we use to do.

I'm still holding on my brother,

because it's to hard to let go.

I've learned how not to cry,

but from time to time,

a tear or two will still show.

Still holding on my brother,

even though my heart is crying out.

Turning the simple whispers in my mind

into a loud and raging shout.

cause I know God will see me through.
