sleeptight starlight is it really true

that so many people come and also go too?

i dreamt that i was far away

so many lightyears away

i wish that it were true

because it had you

you were my light and carried me away

is it really true that sleeptight starlight really exists?

i wrote to you in so many letters

i told you everything and placed my tears

when i wake up it feels like we are so far apart

i look at the stars and see your faith

sleeptight starlight i believe it's true

it makes me feel no more lonlyness

and when i awake i'm with you
