The Fairy Queen.

The Fairy Queen.

Where do the royals really live?
For example the Fairy Queen.
She has so much love to give,
Her life must be a very dream.

Granting wishes each and every day,
To wanting people like you and me.
We are all glad she came our way,
The loveliest person we shall ever see.

She has no royal carriage,
Drawn by horses four.
Nor does she live in marriage,
No fairy king I’m sure.

A wand of magic she calls her own,
Wishes she grants for free,
So where is her lovely home,
No palaces do I ever see?

Flowers she paints with colours bold,
Everything grows at her behest.
No palace or castle be it old,
In north, south, east or west.

So where does she reside,
Not in a toadstool I am sure.
Where is her place of abode?
It is in the homes of the poor.
