Absent friends across the boards.
So many have now left,
it is a crying shame.
They are all sadly missed,
to many for to name.
Now why they left is mixed,
each one has their own reason.
But poor Garwy was betrayed,
i tell you it was treason!
I understand their Angst!
But now they are all ghosts.
Some have not just left
but so have all their posts!
There is talk of anarchy
and people logging off!
The Eds must beaware,
i hope they do not scoff!
These boards are quite unique,
they become just like a friend.
For those that are long-term
we dont want them to end.
But things have got so tough,
where do we draw the line.
We all feel quite upset,
these boards are yours and mine.
The temperature must drop,
the air-con must kick in.
To lose one more of us
would really be a sin.
I miss the old brigade,
the ones who said the most.
I miss their expert eye
that made me want to post.
But i cant change a thing,
it is way above my head.
It is like my feets to big
to fit inside my bed.
An argument or fall out,
we shouldn"t live in fear.
Of censorship or worse,
lets make it loud and clear!
That what we say can hurt
and come across unfair.
But opinions are to help
and hopefully to share.
We all think we know best
and it hasn"t taken long.
For me to realise,
that we all can get it wrong.
Opinions are what count!
It is not out with our reach,
to simply all agree
we need freedom of speech!....
To each and everyone
who said this is the end.
I raise a glass and say,
