Sitting all alone as the people pass by

And I see your smile through the dark sky

So I walk over to you just to talk

But after hearing your voice my dreams begin to walk

For it is just so sweet to hear

Takes away all the fear

And I just sit there and wonder how beauty can be so sweet

For how lucky I am, for you, I finally get to meet

And I can’t believe how much good is in one place

As the glow still surrounds the smile on your face

And as the night comes to a close

I pray we stay close and not wilt like a rose
