Encounter in the Air

Was it the nearness of the ampleness?

The space between your words?

The suitable distance of grasping sense?

What did I receive from your presence?

Suspending energy, sensible - unsensible

Words like drops on a silent sea, forming rings - creating circles

Echo from near distance - far nearness

groping softly to touch me

triggering tender waves in my receptive awareness

Shifting motions - vibrating silence

by being surrendered - being sustained

Surprisingly feeling the answer without question

The whole is there, parts are parts of the wholeness

Like words, like drops - from you and me

flowing together - in astonishment

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem was written some time ago, -
after having a sensible encounter
with a lady... Nothing real came out
of it, just this poem...

Warm, smooth flowing, sensitive thoughts, words like drops on silent seas- forming rings- creating circles. Penned from the innermost depths of your being. Thanks for sharing. linda
