I can really relate to this. I too have an imaginary place I go to to get away from everything. I don't understand it but I go there anyway. And you're right about there being no happy ending. Everyone hears about them, sees them, or reads about them in books. But what they hear, see, and read is just a lie. As you go through life you begin to realize that. I know I have.
