It was the last thing you'd want to do
I believed every word you said
I put my trust in you
But look at where that got me
Heartbroken, left to cry
Look at what you did to me
Heartbroken, left to die
You said that you loved me
And that you meant it all
But suddenly you let go
And you watched me fall
Now this is where you got me
Heartbroken, like shattered glass
Take a look at all you did to me
Heartbroken, happened so fast
Why did I believe you?
I shouldn't have trusted you
When you said you really cared
When you said your love was true
Now I'm here alone
Heartbroken, crashing to the floor
You broke me down so much
