Straying beyond the boundaries,

I begin to forget the love

I found in Calvary’s

darkest moment.

Straying beyond the boundaries,

I begin to forget what we have.

On my knees, I cry and repent,

but I need Your fortitude

to keep from allowing

selfishness to intrude

into this heart of mine, again.

Oh, in my weakness, I continue to sin—

even though I’d rather be bowing

before Thy Holy Throne

in true worship and adoration.

But, in my weakness, my resolve is gone,

and I Stray beyond the boundaries.

On my knees, I cry and repent,

but I need Your fortitude

to keep from Straying beyond the boundaries,

and falling into sin.
