Please pardon my stupid expression,
I know I must look funny, standing here
with my jaw wide open,
but I just had revelation
of how Awesome You really are.
You are Holy, You are Holy.
You are so Holy, it’s humanly
impossible for me to Know You,
but by Your grace, Thou hast made me
Your intimate friend, and in the end
I shall live in Your paradise eternally.
So pardon my stupid expression,
as I stand here with my jaw wide open,
admiring all that I can understand
about Thee, and all that I cannot,
admiring all that I will never understand
about You, until the day I enter through the Pearly Gate.
when words can never say what it will be like when we see god- or what god is really like. when we try but words just dont hit it. i think our jaw wide open, us on our knees may hit it more.
" i can only imagine" comes to my mind
