UNTRUSTED

I suddenly find that I’m untrusted by those who know me not.

For crimes I did not do, I am busted by those who know me not.

They may think they really know me, but apparently they are wrong.

After slander against me, they have lusted.  Those who know me not.

I am simply a heathen young man, masquerading as a sheep.

I am the one who cannot be trusted, to those who know me not.

No one really cares to get to know me.  They don’t even try.

Suddenly, I find that I’m untrusted by those who know me not.

They call me a heathen young man who does masquerade as a sheep.

I’m “Tom, the one who cannot be trusted,” to those who know me not.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Been experimenting with new "Forms" lately. This is the first Ghazal I've written. It's based on what I'm currently going through in my relationships with certian "Friends."

a very good ghazal.... whatever one is..please teach it to rockinron. he would like to learn. for the people who dont trust you- put you down. the ones who call you a heathen mascraded as a sheep. dont look to them for the pat on the back. look to the ones who know you and love you. dont look at your short comings. thats the friends. these people who you write about in this poem are missing a great guy here( YOU) as a friend.
