In this time and place,

I pause to seek Thy face.

Though I am the most pathetic

of all Thy creation, You stick

to me closer than a brother,

loving me more than any other

ever has or ever will;

So, on my knees, I become still.

In this time and place,

I pause to seek Thy face.

How can I do Your will,

until You reveal

the next step to me?

I ask not to see

the big picture,

only to hear

You soft-still voice.

Quietly, I now rejoice,

as I listen to only Thee,

In this time and place.
