One Mistake

I made a mistake.

I trusted you.

I gave you my love.

I gave you my laughter.

I even gave you my tears.

I gave you my life.

I sacrificed everything for you.

I'd given the last breath of my body, just to hear to

hear you say that you love me again.

But... you were my mistake.

The mistake of falling in love too quickly.

Being too stubborn and too determined to have you.

But now that I know what you're like...

I don't know why I made that one mistake.

You weren't worth my time, nor the soil beneath my feet.

When I think about it, I want my trust back.

I want my love.

I want my laughter.

I even want the tears that I wasted on you.

I want everything back... including you.
