You Own Me

You Own Me

You only come when you want to when I call

You’re to busy jumping playing having a ball

I do not own you, you seem to own me

You seem to think that is how it was made to be

I give you all of my love and my food

Then you walk around with nose in the air attitude

Whenever I gently stroke your hair

You lay there purring like you do not even care

I should get rid of you but you know I won’t do that

How did I ever fall in love with such a finicky cat?

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem is about my kitten. I wanted to put a picture but did not know how.

Cute

Funny how cute little critters have that affect on us humans. :)
