More Precious Than Gold

More Precious Than Gold

There is a woman that I behold

She is more precious than gold

Her heart is a treasure

  • When she walks into a room

Her eyes light up the gloom

    Her love has no measure

  • Her hair it does flow

    Like ribbons off their roll

    Watch it in the breeze

  • When I look into her eyes

It is then that I realize

She could bring a proud man to his knees

  • Her legs are like a tall cool glass

Running over with wit and sass

She knows how to treat me

  • She keeps me in line

With a look that’s so divine

She has a soul that is so free

  • Angels are so beautiful it is told

But they have to stand behind her they know

    Because she outshines them all

  • Now I may just be an ordinary man

But she loves me all that she can

I come running when she gives me a call

  • Yes there is a woman that I behold

She is more precious than gold

    Her heart is a treasure

  • I would give everything that I own

If her love by me could be known

But she loves at her leisure
