Dreams-
Yes, I know what they are,
They are something you wish upon a star.
I once had dreams, but now they are far.
Yes, I remember what dreams are.

Hope-
I used to know it too-
Back in the days of me and you.
Now you're gone and I'm blue.
But yeah, I once had hope too.

Trust,
I knew it once upon a time,
It was taken by a crime,
Now it's covered with dirt and grime,
My trust is buried in once upon a time.

Faith-
I knew it in the past-
It wasn't meant to last.
For on my life, a dark shadow has been cast
My faith is lost in my past

Nightmares-
They are now my only dreams,
Life isn't always what it seems-
It isn't always about peaches and cream,
Nightmares are now my only dreams.

Hurt-
About it I must never tell,
I know it only too well,
For it's a living hell,
I've felt hurt once too often, can't you tell?

Hate-
I know it too,
It hurts both  me and you-
All the hate that grew-
Changed the life I once knew.

Despair-
it's my very best friend,
And I know in the end,
Despair will always be on the wind.
Despair is my very best friend.

Loneliness-
Yes, I'm lonely, can't you see?
From loneliness I long to be free,
But it's a part of life that will always be.
I'm lonely without you, can't you see?

Happiness-
It's a part of life that I wonder if I'll ever know,
I really don't think so.
29 years and none to show,
Oh, happiness, where did you go?
