Too much hate-
Not enough love.
Too many sorrows-
Dreams that die without ever seeing the light of tomorrow.
What's wrong with thew world today?
Not enough smiles-
Too many fears-
And too many tears.
Too many wars,
Not enough peace.
The list is rather long,
I could go on and on.
A heart breaks,
Because no one cares.
The magic dies,
A dove cries.
Too much religion- no one believes-
No reason to forgive.
Not enough trust-
Too much lust.
A child dies of abuse,
Another dies because there's no food.
Lies told,
Nightmares unfold.
Do you want to make the world a better place?
Give someone a reason to smile.
Wipe away a tear,
Ease a fear.
Love your brother,
Try not to kill one another,
What's wrong with the world today?
