Just turning seventeen

Here comes the birthday girl

Her excitement can be seen

With every smile and every second

Not a single fault can be beckoned



Great! I can’t wait for this day to come

Nothing can go wrong

I’m excited to finally have some

Fun all day long

Oh great, what did you just say?

I can’t have my party this Saturday?



I planned this out carefully!

I stressed over the details!

I’ll scream and be a bully!

And I’ll hammer your head with nails

Because this is my day

And I will be selfish today!



You give me excuses for not leaving me alone

Because today is my day to act like a brat

And not give a damn if you think I’m not grown

Because I told you everything thing that

I planned for so long and hard on when

Congrats mom and dad, you ruined my birthday again!
