I'll never fall
I always thought
I learned my lesson.

The rain falls
Frequently water droplets
Find their home
In the earth
And the soil welcomes them.

The night falls
A marriage to the light
Balance and fairness
Taken in turn.

My tears fall
The well in my eye
Overflows
Streams form on my cheeks
And glide to my lips
The taste of love.

And I fell
Far too often
If only I could learn to soar
After falling just once.
