Questions

The hour is late, but, you call to me.

A restless heart yearning to find comfort.

Will you comfort me tonight?

Will you release the hopelessness, fear, and confussion?

Will you open my heart to new meaning?

Will you ease the burden of lost dreams and hopes put aside?

Will you be released from the vastness of unsung songs, where I have placed you?

Dear words of my heart, please come forward.

Do not leave me to the hopelessness of my reality.

"Will you comfort me tonight?
Will you release the hopelessness, fear, and confussion?"

I love those two lines. Yes, sometimes we feel that way for it is a part of life. But writing can help ease the hopelessness, fear, and confusion.

We all have our ups and downs in life. Keep the faith and strength.

Lesa, Like the words from a poet's prayer, this is one in which all of us who are poets can relate too! I feel we have all felt this way from time to time... Do not be discouraged, for your words always come in god's time...

Peace and love to you my dear friend ~~~~ Dougie ~~
