You came to me

Folder:
2003

You came to me at first as a bird with no wings

And I taught you to fly

You came to me again as a child without a smile

But I still heard you laugh

Yet when you came to me as a lover with no heart

I didn’t make you fly

And forgetting how you've laughed

I closed the door to mine

That it does, but there is not a lot that we can do about it, because the will of our other feelings is just as strong when it wants to be. Well written overall.

You put so much imagery and emotion into these condensed poems... I can always feel your writing...
