Depressed daemons dressed in dreams dancing down towards the dawn

Folder:
2003

Soft beads of sweat sleeping on my skin
Silhouettes of sunshine swept across my smile
A perfect moment
Sex then reset
Winter widows left to warm

Depressed daemons dressed in dreams
Broken believers being born
Such a moment
Never lasted
Foolish feelings for a friend

What was seen should see something sinful
Frolicking fools fucking a fawn
Regretted moments
Never happened
A perfect player played and lost

And all that's left for me to lean on
Are depressed daemons dancing down towards the dawn

Parabolic Logic's picture

The alliteration is a bit over the top. It does have a very tongue-twister feel.

Animal Rights Coalition 9's picture

the title is a poem in itself
